Let me guess! You’re a real estate agent who wants to show up on Instagram, but the idea of dancing in front of a camera makes you want to delete the app altogether. I get it. I’m a marketing manager, and trust me, I work with a lot of people who feel the same way.
The good news? You don’t need trending audio, lip-syncs, or choreography to make reels that perform. What you need is strategy—and a little inspiration. So here are three no-cringe reel ideas I recommend all the time to the realtors I work with:
1. “What Buyers Always Forget to Look At”
Create a reel with quick voiceover tips or captions! Ideas: roof age, foundation cracks, local zoning. You’re building trust and showing you know your stuff.
2. “Behind the Scenes of a Listing Day”
People love seeing what actually goes into prepping a home for sale. You can try fluffing pillows or final walkthroughs, this kind of reel is authentic and engaging (and zero pressure to show your face).
3. “Here’s What $X Buys You in [City]”
This format performs so well. Just a quick scroll of listing photos with text overlays like “3-bed, 2-bath in [Neighborhood]” grabs attention and gets shared: especially if you show different styles or price points.
Remember, reels aren’t about being flashy—they’re about connection. Show up as the expert you are, share helpful info, and your audience will grow.
Let’s make marketing easier (and way less awkward).
