But here’s the truth: people don’t hire realtors just because they saw a Just Listed post. They hire the one who feels right, the one they trust to guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their life.

So how do you become that agent? The one they remember, DM, and refer?

Here’s what I’ve seen work again and again:

1. Show your face, not just your listings
Your feed shouldn’t look like the MLS. Show your personality. Use video, talk on stories, and share little moments from your day. People connect with people and not square footage.

2. Focus on one clear message
Instead of trying to sound like every other agent, get known for one thing. “Helping first-time buyers in Toronto”? “Modern listings in [area]”? Be specific and repeat it often.

3. Make your captions do the heavy lifting
A strong caption can stop the scroll and build trust. Use storytelling, local keywords, and always speak to the buyer or seller’s emotional journey. Need help? 4. Educate, don’t just sell

You don’t need to post daily. But you do need to show up regularly. One thoughtful, strategic post a week can do more than 7 filler posts no one reads.
